Our story began in the hallways of Oro Christian Grace School, where we were childhood classmates who never imagined we’d one day stand side by side at the altar. Life kept us in each other’s orbit—we both ended up in De La Salle–College of Saint Benilde, with Kent pursuing Multimedia Arts and Cara studying Export Management. As high school classmates turned college friends, we found ourselves in the same circle, joining batchmates in Manila for weekend hangouts and short trips during breaks. Somewhere along the way, Kent’s heart began to fall for Cara, but fate made him wait—twice. After graduation, our paths drifted apart, with Kent returning to Davao and Cara staying in Cagayan de Oro.

Fate had other plans. Years later, during an alumni homecoming, we met again. This time, Cara realized what her heart had overlooked before—that Kent’s patience, kindness, and steadfast spirit were exactly what she had been looking for. From that moment, our relationship grew, building a love that was both strong and enduring. Six wonderful years later, in December 8, 2024, Kent got down on one knee at Henry’s Place, Dahilayan and asked Cara to be his forever. And now, we begin our greatest chapter yet—hand in hand, surrounded by the people who have been part of our story all along.
